Welcome to Burbank Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center
Burbank Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center offers rehabilitation services when clinically appropriate, based on physician orders and individual resident needs. Rehabilitation services are provided as part of a coordinated care plan to support recovery, mobility, and daily functioning.
Therapy services may be delivered in our rehabilitation spaces or, when appropriate, in a resident’s room.
Rehabilitation services are tailored to each resident’s condition and goals. Our team works closely with nursing staff and physicians to ensure therapy services align with the resident’s overall plan of care.
Therapy services focus on helping residents maintain or improve functional abilities while supporting safety and comfort.
Physical therapy supports mobility, balance, strength, and safe movement. Therapy goals may include improving walking ability, transferring safely, and maintaining physical function as appropriate for each resident.
Occupational therapy focuses on supporting residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and other self-care tasks. Therapy may include adaptive techniques and strategies to promote independence and safety.
Speech therapy services may support residents with communication, cognitive function, and swallowing needs, as ordered by a physician and based on individual assessment.
Rehabilitation services are coordinated with nursing care to ensure residents receive consistent, supportive treatment. Care plans are reviewed regularly and adjusted as needs change over time.
Our goal is to provide therapy services that complement skilled nursing care and support residents’ overall well-being.
